Animal Print Beads Necklace Design
This animal print beads necklace design idea is an easy beginner jewelry making project.
Basic bead stringing techniques are used and a minimum number of jewelry making tools are needed.
Jewelry Making Supplies
9 – designer blue-grey odd shaped beads 8 – flat oval designer tiger design beads 8 – flat gold disk beads 8 – amber globe beads 4 – large globe beads 4 – small globe beads 2 – crimp beads (gold) 2 – small gold jump rings 1 - toggle clasp .024 diameter gold beading wire
Jewelry Making Tools
1 needle nose pliers 1 wire cutter crimping tool
Necklace is 18 inches long.
Jewelry Making Instructions
Step 1 Cut 20 inches of beading wire (2 extra inches are needed for closing the toggle clasp)
Step 2 On one end of the wire thread on a crimp bead 1 and a gold jump ring. Loop back the crimp bead. Leave just enough room for the ring to move freely. Crimp the crimp bead closed.
Step 3 String beads in this pattern starting with 1 blue, flat gold bead, amber, tiger print, 1 Large gold globe, blue, flat gold, amber, tiger print, small globe.
Step 4 Repeat this pattern until you are 1 inch from the end of the necklace, ending with a blue bead as shown in the picture.
Step 5 Repeat Step 2 to crimp the second end of the necklace.
