Bead and Ribbon Necklace

I used beads, wire and ribbon to make this bead and ribbon necklace design. It's a great beginner wire jewelry project and an easy bead jewelry project.

I've been in love with beads for almost five years now. I love everything about beads and all the designs that I can make with them.

It is really means something when I know that there is a woman out there who is wearing my design!

And, that they are paying me for something that I made and which I really love doing anyway!

It is a real blessing to be able to find happiness with simple things like creating beaded jewelry.

Like this one material that I used to make this bead and ribbon necklace I call 'Blue and Brown Necklace'. The blue crystal beads with copper on both ends have been with me for two years now.

Since I bought them, they have stayed inside their packaging. I had always looked at them and just admired them, but I never had a design in mind for them until this jewelry making contest.

I chose blue and brown because I think it is a very nice color combination. For me, they compliment each other.

I can also imagine that blue and brown is a good color combination for a wedding color motif, so I made a necklace that I hope any bridesmaid will love!
