What is a Friendship Necklace?
A necklace made with friendship stones, or charms
proclaiming friendship. It is popular to give or exchange one in
honor of Friendship Day.
Though it can be made from many materials, a beaded friendship
necklace is usually a simple necklace made of chain, leather or other
stringing material and friendship stones.
What are Friendship Stones?
Namely, the gemstones lapis lazuli and tigers eye.
Traditionally, tigers eye was given as a gift between romantic partners.
Today, it has become one of the symbols given on International Friendship Day.
Since ancient times Lapis has been regarded by many people,
including metaphysicians, as a stone of truthful communication or friendship.

Though friendship stones or necklaces may certainly be given at
anytime, a lot of people give and/or exchange them
on days set aside to celebrate our wonderful treasure called friendship...
- International Friendship Month - February

Jewelry Selling Insights
People who buy handmade jewelry like to learn interesting details
about the jewelry they buy.
Make a handmade romance card and attach it to the necklace or include
it inside the packaging.
On the romance card include some of the friendship necklace info
from above, a friendship quote or a hand written statement that
simply says, "In celebration of our friendship". Use a colored
paint pen to write the quote.
Friendship necklaces make lasting unique friendship gifts.
Enjoy making and giving your friendship necklace!
