Bead Jewelry Making Supplies
- 2 chandelier earring findings
- 6 1" (2.5 cm) head pins
- 2 8mm beads caps
- 2 sheppard's hook earwires
- 14" (35.6 cm) length of half hard round wire (not shown) (or 14 1" (2.5 cm) head pins)
- 18 6mm beads*
- 2 8mm beads*
*I used paparadcha color Swarovski® crystals in this earring project.
 Findings used.
1. If using wire, cut fourteen 7/8" (2.3 cm) lengths.
If using head pins, cut off the head of 14 head pins.

2. Using the lengths of wire (or the headless head pins) and the 6mm beads, make 14 double ended
simple wire loop bead dangles.
Connect and close the wire loops on one set of bead dangles in
the pattern as shown in the picture below. (A set consists of one 2-bead dangle, one 3-bead dangle and
one 2-bead dangle.)
Connect the second set and close the wire loops.

3. As shown in the picture below: Using four head pins and four 6mm beads, make four
bead dangles with a simple wire loop above the bead.
Using two head pins,
two 8mm beads and two bead caps, make two bead dangles with a simple wire loop above the bead.

4. Now, for each earring, connect the bead dangles as shown in the picture below.
Connect a head pin 6mm bead dangle to the two outer 2-bead dangles.
Connect a head pin
8mm bead dangle to the inner 3-bead dangles.
Close the wire loops.

5. Now, make chandelier earrings. Attach the top bead dangle wire loop to the
corresponding loop on the chandelier earring finding. If your finding has a distinguishable
front and back, connect the wire loops so that their opening is in the back of the finding.
Close the wire loops.
Attach the two sheppard's hook to the top loop on each
chandelier earring finding (not shown).

And you're done! Beautiful...

Chandelier Earring Variation
Here's the first pair of these earrings that I made for a friend. I used clip on earwires to make clip on
chandelier earrings. The round beads are Swarovski® crystals in jet and the wrapped drops are dyed black teardrop
pearls.
She was going to wear them to President Obama's inauguration, but at the last minute her plans
fell through. Such is life...

Jewelry Selling Insight
For greater security, I made my friend's pair using a wrapped loop
instead of a simple wire loop.
If you start to make jewelry for others, you may want to consider
doing the same. It eliminates someone returning the earrings because
a simple wire loop opened and they lost a bead dangle.

Here's the lesson on making a wrapped wire loop:
